Interior Style from L.A.’s Peter Dunham Straight to Your Home
How lucky was I to get to hang out with Peter Dunham & his amazing team at LA store/headquarters, Hollywood At Home, for the Design Bloggers LA conference?!
A witty & charming Brit, Dunham blends Anglo influence with California chic to create a truly unique and accessible interior style. He effortlessly blends Raj-patterns with Oriental rugs plus modern art and 70s furniture to create these really livable happy spaces….
If you are not near L.A., you can make liberal use of their website and/or call their store for direction. I did that last summer & got these pillows below plus the fabric for my bench - makes simple background a lot livelier! I have a few different pillows from Hollywood at Home in our New Hampshire house & they work surprisingly well in both urban (below: Washington DC) and country settings.
I knew Peter's interior style from countless magazines, but to see his whole emporium - textiles, fabrics, lighting, art - under one roof gave me more appreciation for how this Mix Master works...
REALLY hard to choose a favorite wallpaper! You can look at them all online here. Also at the event: Sara Noble & her team, who have amazing design practice based in Kansas City. You can check out their work here.
Thank you to Peter & the whole team at Hollywood at Home (even your dog was friendly!) for hosting us also to DBLA for arranging it. High style & low attitude = perfect trip!
